course description
This is a language course for students who have come to New Zealand from overseas and have learnt English as an additional language. This is a double option course which will cover both ESOL and mainstream English programmes. Students will be assessed on reading, writing, listening and speaking through a combination of Level 1 English Achievement Standards, Literacy Unit Standards and a selection of English Language (EL) unit standards at Levels 1 and 2. depending on their English language competencies.
