This course is for students who demonstrate sound skills with
language and literature. The focus of this course is on reading and writing;
students will develop their ability to respond to texts, both studied and
unstudied, and develop creative writing and/or formal essay writing skills. Students
will gain Level 1 literacy and this will count towards NCEA Level 1.
