Students will learn basic core engineering skills such as use of hand and
power tools, workshop safety, and engineering design, which can lead them
into many facets of the engineering industry.
People taking this option will be elageable to apply for the Nation Certificate of Engineering Level 1.
There is a large practical component in this course and practical
projects will be undertaken. This is the first year of a three year programme.
