course description
Students will get an introduction to working as a carpenter, builder or construction worker. They will learn how to use portable electric power tools use and safety, read plans, and free hand sketching. They will also learn basic frame construction and timber joints.
Students will learn about electrical measurements of voltage, current, resistance, continuity, and insulation. Isolate electrical circuits from the supply of electricity and test electrical circuits to ensure safety prior to reconnection.
