course description
Students will learn how to use and apply knowledge and skills in a wide range of computer applications. They will work towards generic computing and information processing unit standards. This course is useful for any career path or employment situation, as well as for students who are interested in careers or tertiary courses in Computing and/or Digital Technologies, Service and Computer Administration Vocational Pathways and related fields.
This course is also considered particularly useful for students that intend following a Trade pathway e.g. plumber or electrician or completing the Transition pathway at L2 as students will learn a useful range of communication and spreadsheet skills as well as managing and organising information. All of these are skills that can be applied across the Trade or Transition pathways at L2 and L3.
