A pass in one external standard and one internal standard in one of the following Level 1 subjects: English, History or Geography.
Students will learn about people’s actions and the impact that they can have on society. They will investigate how individuals/groups have used social action to fight for change and plan their own social action in relation to a social issue. Additionally, students will undertake a critical inquiry project that will involve research relating to a significant idea about society. Throughout the course students will develop an understanding of the rights and responsibilities of communities and nations.
