course description
Students will get an introduction to working as a carpenter, builder or construction worker. They will learn how to use portable electric power tools use and safety, read plans, and free hand sketching. They will also learn basic frame construction and timber joints. They will also be introduced the skills required to study mechanical engineering.
Students learn how to use engineering hand tools, power tools and also the safety of welding and engineering work shop safety.
