A minimum of 10+ credits from unit standards 2784 (problem solving using spreadsheets). 2786 (Create and use a simple flat file database to solve a problem) and 111 (Operating a Word Processor) or HOD discretion.
Students will learn about and develop skills in the Microsoft suite of computer applications that support business and any employment situation requiring computer literacy. Workplace placement through the Gateway programme, and links with tertiary providers are available.
