course description
Students will learn about and develop skills in the Microsoft suite of computer applications that support business and any employment situation requiring computer literacy. Workplace placement through the Gateway programme, and links with tertiary providers are available.
This course is also considered useful for students that intend following a Trade pathway e.g. Plumber or Electrician or completing the Transition pathway at L3 as students will improve research ability and learn skills such as production of useful business documents, completing calculations, charts and macros in MS Excel. Many of these skills will be useful if completing a Trade or Transition pathway at L3.
