This course is for students who develop skills in responding critically to language and literature. They are interested, through the texts studied, both in New Zealand society and in the world around them.
The focus of this course is on reading and writing; students will develop their ability to respond to texts, both studied and unstudied, and develop skills in responding critically to what they have studied.
Students can gain University Entrance Reading Literacy credits and University Entrance Writing Literacy credits.
Course credits will be gained towards NCEA Level 3.
