course description
Students will learn about and develop skills in the Microsoft suite and Adobe suite of computer applications that support business and any employment situation requiring computer literacy. Workplace placement through the Gateway programme, and links with tertiary providers are available.
Students will improve research ability and learn skills such as production of useful business documents, completing calculations, charts and macros in MS Excel, developing and using a database in MS Access. Many of these skills will be useful if completing a Trade pathway (e.g. Plumber, Builder, or Electrician) or Transition pathway at L3.
