course description
In this UE approved subject, students learn to make sense of the media landscape that surrounds them and to become critical rather than passive consumers of media messages. We also consider the health of our personal relationship to technology. Students will develop desirable 21st century skills such as media literacy, creative collaboration, and production knowledge.
Students take control of the creative process by developing projects, such as short films, that help them make sense of their experiences. The subject prepares students for careers in diverse fields such as law, film making, post-production, journalism, advertising, broadcast television, and the internet economy.
