pre-requisites
14 credits from Level 2 Physics course with a pass in Level 2 Mechanics external or Level 2 Electricity external. A good standard of Mathematics is required particularly Algebra and Trigonometry. Students who do not meet these prerequisites must have attempted the Mechanics external and the Electricity external. Students are expected to bring their paper to their class teacher for discussion.
course description
Students will study Mechanics, Electricity and Waves as required to gain the specialist knowledge to enter into a university course for civil engineering, mechanical engineering, mechatronics, software engineering, electronics, materials, chemical engineering and aviation. Level 3 Physics is also recommended for entry into medicine (to be a doctor) and related careers such as physiotherapy, optometry, pharmacy and dentistry, transport, architecture and technology.
