course description
The Year 13 Te Reo course gives students the opportunity to use their Te Reo skills to explore complex and modern issues and to prepare students for NCEA Level 3 and Scholarship.
Knowledge of Te Reo and Tikanga Māori assist and compliment a wide range of careers.
Content/Topics:
The internal assessment focus is on kōrero (speaking), whakarongo (listening) and waihanga tuhinga (crafted writing).
The external examination will focus on tuhi (writing) and pānui (reading) aspects of the course.
The writing and reading comprehension achievement standards contribute towards the literacy requirements for University Entrance.
